For the filmmaker, the creator, the journalist, the OTT producer, and the media entrepreneur. A full academic institution — not a workshop — built around India's most explosive creative industry. Your film. Your story. A real global stage.
The capstone isn't submitted to a professor. It's screened in front of directors, producers, OTT commissioning editors and investors — across India and the world.
International Film Festival of India — your work in front of the country's most important film audience.
A partner screening with École de Cinéma — your film in front of a European festival audience.
A Hollywood-partner industry showcase — exposure to the world's largest film market.
The MAMI Film Festival and live OTT pitching to India's most active streaming platforms.
Great filmmakers aren't trained in rows of seats listening to lectures. They're trained by doing — with real practitioners beside them, real productions around them, and a real audience waiting at the end. 25–30 students enter together and graduate together as a creative unit.
Active filmmakers, working OTT producers, directors with theatrical credits, editors with released credits, and media entrepreneurs with live businesses. They teach what they do today — not what they did 20 years ago.
No written exams. Every module ends with something you made — a short film, a cut, a script, a pitch deck, a published article, a produced episode. Your portfolio is your degree.
25–30 students, deliberately small. Every student is paired with a working industry mentor for the full 15 months — not a one-off introduction, but a career partner.
The capstone is a produced film, series pilot, or documentary — screened for directors, producers, OTT commissioning editors and investors in four cities.
Screenwriting, visual language, cinematography fundamentals, editing, sound design. Practitioner-led workshops every week. First short film by the end of Month 3.
Choose your track — Fiction Film, Documentary, OTT Series, Digital Content & Creator, or Journalism & Multimedia — and deep-dive with specialist practitioners.
A live internship or production placement with an Ireu partner — production house, OTT platform, digital-media company or brand studio. You're working, not observing.
Your major work — a short film, documentary, series pilot or creator-channel launch — produced with your cohort, mentored by a working professional.
Your capstone goes to IFFI Goa, MAMI Mumbai, and partner programs in Paris and Los Angeles. Demo Day brings top directors, producers, OTT commissioners and investors to Bangalore.
Top directors. Working producers. Real investors. In the room.
You don't have to know exactly where you land — only that you want a life in film, content and media. The cohort helps you find your lane, then drives you down it at full speed.
Feature films, shorts, documentaries, OTT series — direct across formats with complete production knowledge from script to festival.
Production roles at India's most active streaming platforms — development, writers' rooms, casting, delivery and international distribution.
A full-stack creator career — content, strategy, audience growth, brand deals, monetisation and a creator-led media business with real revenue.
Write for film, OTT, web series and branded content — story structure, dialogue craft, format adaptation and pitching to producers.
Narrative audio, branded podcasts and audio drama — production, distribution and the business of audio.
Camera, lighting, grade and cut — the visual craft of film and the post-production pipeline, to professional standards.
Reporting, multimedia storytelling, video journalism and the modern newsroom across digital platforms.
Brand films, content studios and media businesses — the entrepreneurial path for storytellers who build companies.
A film is a startup. Most filmmakers don't know it yet.
The filmmakers who understand their numbers dominate their industry — and the next generation will be part director, part technologist. Four Ireu verticals stand behind one film school: Finance for film funding and distribution economics, Technology for AI-driven production, Startups for media ventures, and the Group's media network for distribution. An advantage no standalone film school can offer.
A 15-month, ₹15 Lakh all-inclusive cohort — full-time, in-person in Bangalore, capstone screened globally, credential: Ireu PG Diploma in Film & Media. Finance options via Ireu Finance from offer date.
25–30 storytellers per cohort. Practitioner faculty. Screenings in Goa, Paris, Los Angeles and Mumbai. This is where creative careers begin.
